Upper Timing Cover – Volvo (3517099)

Upper Timing Cover is a containment or structural component matched to a specific casting and bolt pattern. Parts that look interchangeable often differ in offset or internal volume.

Replace the Timing Cover when the casting is cracked at a mounting point, when a mating flange is no longer flat, or when the original has corroded through. Check the surface it seals against before fitting a replacement.

For this Timing Cover the reference is 3517099, in our Camshafts & Timing range. Compare it with the number on the part you are replacing rather than with a photograph.

Genuine VOLVO supplied for this Timing Cover, with the engineering number unchanged from the factory reference stamped on the original.

This is the upper unit in the assembly; confirm the location on your vehicle before ordering.
