Timing Cover – GM (12739836)

Timing Cover holds, shields or mounts other components in the assembly. Bolt spacing and depth are what decide fitment, and neither is visible without measuring.

Replace the Timing Cover when the bolt holes have elongated, when the gasket surface is pitted, or when the part has distorted from heat. A warped flange leaks with any gasket.

This Timing Cover is listed as part 12739836 (Camshafts & Timing). Where a number has been superseded, the current reference is the one that ships, so check any supersession note before ordering.

Genuine GM supplied for this Timing Cover, with the engineering number unchanged from the factory reference stamped on the original.
