Timing Chain Guide – Mopar (4893702AB)

Timing Chain Guide is part of the drive path between two shafts. Gears are lapped as a pair at the factory, which is why mixing a new gear with a worn mate usually produces noise.

Replace the Timing Chain Guide when backlash or tooth pattern is out of specification, or when the fluid carries metallic paste. Setting the pattern correctly on assembly matters as much as the part.

Reference number for the Timing Chain Guide: 4893702AB. It is filed under Camshafts & Timing, and it is the number that has to match the part coming off the vehicle.

This is MOPAR dealer-sourced stock rather than an equivalent, so the number on the Timing Chain Guide traces straight back to the manufacturer.
