Motorcraft Axle Assembly – Ford (tx968)

Motorcraft Axle Assembly transfers drive across a moving joint. Two shafts that look alike can differ in length by enough to bottom out in the joint, so the measurement matters more than the model year.

Replace the Motorcraft Axle when there is rotational play at a joint, when the shaft is bent, or when a seal surface is grooved past the point of sealing. Measure the installed length against the specification.

The Motorcraft Axle in this listing carries part number tx968 and sits in the Axle Assemblies category. The number stamped on the original part is the only reliable cross-reference.

Genuine FORD supplied for this Motorcraft Axle, with the engineering number unchanged from the factory reference stamped on the original.

Supplied as an assembly rather than as an individual component, so check that you need the whole item before ordering.
