Engine Timing Chain Guide – ACDelco (90537299)

Engine Timing Chain Guide is a toothed component that transfers drive through a set ratio. Tooth count, pressure angle and hub offset are what make one gear interchangeable and another not.

Replace the Timing Chain Guide when you find chipped or spalled teeth, when the pattern shows contact concentrated at one end, or when the transmission is apart for another failure. Inspect the mating gear before refitting.

The Timing Chain Guide in this listing carries part number 90537299 and sits in the Camshafts & Timing category. The number stamped on the original part is the only reliable cross-reference.

The stock here is genuine ACDELCO, and this Timing Chain Guide keeps the original engineering number, which matters once a number has been superseded more than once.
