Engine Camshaft – Volvo (9458203)

Engine Camshaft is a rotating or reciprocating member in the valvetrain or bottom end. It is ground to a specific journal size and, in the case of a camshaft, to a specific lift and duration profile.

Replace the Engine Camshaft when you find scoring on a journal, when the lobe or bearing surface is worn below specification, or when the engine is apart for another failure. Measure the journals before ordering, because undersize parts exist.

For this Engine Camshaft the reference is 9458203, in our Camshafts & Timing range. Compare it with the number on the part you are replacing rather than with a photograph.

This is VOLVO dealer-sourced stock rather than an equivalent, so the number on the Engine Camshaft traces straight back to the manufacturer.
