Throttle Body opens, closes or modulates a passage in the engine or transmission circuit. Spring rate and orifice size are calibrated to the application, not selected by size.

Replace the Throttle Body when the valve does not return freely, when the seat is pitted, or when a solenoid that drives it has already been replaced. Debris in the circuit damages the new one the same way.
