Injector – GM (89053864)

Injector converts a physical condition into a signal the powertrain module acts on. The module compares that signal against an expected range at every start-up, so a failing unit is usually logged before it becomes a driveability complaint.

Replace the Injector when the fault repeats with the harness already ruled out, when resistance drifts as the part heats up, or when a connector has corroded past cleaning. Swapping a sensor to chase a wiring fault is the most common wasted repair on these circuits.

Ordering reference for the Injector is part number 89053864, categorised under Fuel Injectors. Match that number against the component you are removing before you order.

This is genuine GM stock, supplied for the Injector with the manufacturer number intact so the reference on the box matches the catalogue.
