Front Engine Cradle – GM (92248978)

Front Engine Cradle mounts and isolates a heavy powertrain component. Hydraulic-filled and solid designs are not interchangeable even when the bolt pattern matches.

Replace the Engine Cradle when there is excessive movement under load or a vibration that was not there before. A collapsed mount loads the others and they fail in sequence.

Reference number for the Engine Cradle: 92248978. It is filed under Engine Mounts & Covers, and it is the number that has to match the part coming off the vehicle.

This is genuine GM stock, supplied for the Engine Cradle with the manufacturer number intact so the reference on the box matches the catalogue.

This is the front unit in the assembly; confirm the location on your vehicle before ordering.
