Engine Water Pump – ACDelco (252-981)

Engine Water Pump maintains flow or pressure in a closed circuit. Restrictions elsewhere in the circuit produce the same symptoms as a worn pump, so both have to be checked.

Replace the Engine Water Pump when a pressure gauge shows a drop under load, or when the pump has been run dry. Running dry scores the internals beyond recovery.

This Engine Water Pump is listed under part number 252-981, filed under Water Pumps. If the original number is unreadable, send us the VIN and we will confirm the reference before dispatch.

This is ACDELCO dealer-sourced stock rather than an equivalent, so the number on the Engine Water Pump traces straight back to the manufacturer.
