Engine Stud – Nissan (14064-EZ40A)

Engine Stud is a fastener specified for a particular joint. Grade, thread pitch and coating are all part of the specification, and a hardware-store substitute of the same diameter will not carry the same load or resist the same corrosion.

Replace the Engine Stud whenever the joint is opened if the fastener is torque-to-yield, when the threads are stretched or corroded, or when the head has been rounded. Reused stretch bolts leave the joint under-clamped.
