Engine Piston Ring Kit – ACDelco (12670788)

Engine Piston Ring Kit contains combustion in the cylinder bore and transfers force to the connecting rod. It is matched by bore diameter and ring groove width rather than by model year alone.

Replace the Piston Ring Kit when compression is low on one cylinder, when oil consumption climbs without an external leak, or when a teardown shows scoring in the bore. Measure the bore before ordering: standard size will not seal a cylinder that needs honing.

Ordering reference for the Piston Ring Kit is part number 12670788, categorised under Pistons, Rings & Cylinders. Match that number against the component you are removing before you order.

Genuine ACDELCO supplied for this Piston Ring Kit, with the engineering number unchanged from the factory reference stamped on the original.

This is sold as a kit; if only one component has failed, confirm whether the single part is available separately.
