Engine Piston Kit – ACDelco (89018218)

Engine Piston Kit is a reciprocating component that seals the combustion chamber. Clearance and surface finish decide whether it seals correctly, so the bore has to be measured before a replacement is chosen.

Replace the Engine Piston Kit when a leak-down test shows air escaping past the rings, when the skirt is scuffed, or when ring lands are cracked. Check the ring end gap in the bore it will run in.

The Engine Piston Kit in this listing carries part number 89018218 and sits in the Pistons, Rings & Cylinders category. The number stamped on the original part is the only reliable cross-reference.

This is genuine ACDELCO stock, supplied for the Engine Piston Kit with the manufacturer number intact so the reference on the box matches the catalogue.

Supplied as a kit rather than as an individual component, so check that you need the whole item before ordering.
