Engine Mount – Ford (8G1Z-6038-A)

Engine Mount mounts and isolates a heavy powertrain component. Hydraulic-filled and solid designs are not interchangeable even when the bolt pattern matches.

Replace the Engine Mount when there is excessive movement under load or a vibration that was not there before. A collapsed mount loads the others and they fail in sequence.

Reference number for the Engine Mount: 8G1Z-6038-A. It is filed under Engine Mounts & Covers, and it is the number that has to match the part coming off the vehicle.

This is FORD dealer-sourced stock rather than an equivalent, so the number on the Engine Mount traces straight back to the manufacturer.
