Case Differential holds, shields or mounts other components in the assembly. Bolt spacing and depth are what decide fitment, and neither is visible without measuring.
Replace the Case Differential when the bolt holes have elongated, when the gasket surface is pitted, or when the part has distorted from heat. A warped flange leaks with any gasket.
This Case Differential is listed as part 1s7z4205aa (Differentials). Where a number has been superseded, the current reference is the one that ships, so check any supersession note before ordering.
Genuine FORD supplied for this Case Differential, with the engineering number unchanged from the factory reference stamped on the original.
