Automatic Transmission Shift Indicator – Volvo (8689415)

Automatic Transmission Shift Indicator routes fluid through the engine bay or underbody. The crimp or flare is the usual failure point, and it fails from vibration rather than from pressure.

Replace the Shift Indicator when a leak appears at a flare or when the line has been bent close to a heat source. Routing must follow the original path or it will chafe.

This Shift Indicator is listed under part number 8689415, filed under Transmission Assemblies. If the original number is unreadable, send us the VIN and we will confirm the reference before dispatch.

This is VOLVO dealer-sourced stock rather than an equivalent, so the number on the Shift Indicator traces straight back to the manufacturer.
