Automatic Transmission Mount Bracket mounts and isolates a heavy powertrain component. Hydraulic-filled and solid designs are not interchangeable even when the bolt pattern matches.
Replace the Mount Bracket when there is excessive movement under load or a vibration that was not there before. A collapsed mount loads the others and they fail in sequence.
Reference number for the Mount Bracket: BB5Z-6031-A. It is filed under Transmission Assemblies, and it is the number that has to match the part coming off the vehicle.
Genuine FORD supplied for this Mount Bracket, with the engineering number unchanged from the factory reference stamped on the original.
