Automatic Transmission Mount – ACDelco (84238546)

Automatic Transmission Mount locates the engine, transmission or subframe and isolates vibration from the body. Rubber hardness and internal voiding are tuned to a specific powertrain, so a stiffer or softer substitute changes how much noise reaches the cabin.

Replace the Mount when engine movement is visible when the throttle is blipped, when a clunk appears on take-up, or when the rubber has separated from the metal. Replacing one worn mount often shows up the next one.

For this Mount the reference is 84238546, in our Transmission Assemblies range. Compare it with the number on the part you are replacing rather than with a photograph.

The stock here is genuine ACDELCO, and this Mount keeps the original engineering number, which matters once a number has been superseded more than once.
