Automatic Transmission Case – ACDelco (24289621)

Automatic Transmission Case is a formed or cast component that surrounds or supports part of the powertrain. Corrosion and cracking at mounting points are the usual reasons for replacement.

Replace the Case when you find a crack that weeps under pressure, or when the mounting ears have failed. Welding a casting rarely restores the original alignment.

Reference number for the Case: 24289621. It is filed under Transmission Assemblies, and it is the number that has to match the part coming off the vehicle.

The stock here is genuine ACDELCO, and this Case keeps the original engineering number, which matters once a number has been superseded more than once.
