Automatic Transmission Cable – Mopar (68391489ab)

Automatic Transmission Cable transmits driver input to the transmission or transfer case. Free play and adjustment range are set by the linkage geometry, not by the cable alone.

Replace the Cable when the lever has excessive free play, when the cable binds in cold weather, or when a clip has broken. A cable that has frayed internally is not repairable.

The Cable in this listing carries part number 68391489ab and sits in the Wiring & Connectors category. The number stamped on the original part is the only reliable cross-reference.

This is genuine MOPAR stock, supplied for the Cable with the manufacturer number intact so the reference on the box matches the catalogue.
