Buying guide: Clutches & Flywheels

Clutch packs are stacked in a specific order and the order is not interchangeable between build codes. A single misplaced steel plate changes the clearance for the whole pack and produces a bind-up on engagement. Flywheels are matched to the crankshaft flange and, on dual-mass designs, to the torque of the engine they were built for.

Each listing names the position, the plate count where relevant and the transmission code it fits. Replace the converter or the release bearing with the clutch, because the second failure is almost always one of those two.
